121 Compensation of immaterial damage in criminal proceedings - Abstract The topic of this rigorous thesis is compensation for immaterial damage in criminal proceedings. This topic is mainly related to the question of fulfilling the conditions for its compensation and determining its amount. This thesis deals with the victim's entitlement to claim compensation for immaterial damage and a series of related issues, especially in relation to the determination of the amount of the claim for compensation for immaterial damage. The application and quantification of the injured party's claim in monetary form is considerably more complicated than in the case of compensation for material damages, and therefore this issue requires increased attention. The purpose of this thesis is to point out the procedural procedure of making a claim by the injured party in adhesion proceedings, the decision-making practice of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court, which often come into conflict with each other, and at the same time to put forward my own proposals for possible changes to the current wording of the Criminal Procedure Code. This work deals with the analysis of traffic car-accidents in the Czech Republic, Sweden and Denmark. Excepting the analysis, it contains basic information and evaluation. Then in the final part is also given a proposal of measures to reduce car-accidents in the Czech Republic.
Extrication of Persons Trapped in Crashed Vehicles with Respect to their Construction

This thesis deals with the topic of extrication of people trapped incrashed vehicles regarding the construction of the vehicle. Part of the resources needed for this theses was taken from a literary survey drawn up with the help of the Research and scientific library in Hradec Králové according to the given topic and key phrases. The first part of the thesis deals with specific parts of the constructions of cars. This part is followed by description of road accidents, various kinds of accidents and possible deformations of cars after accidents. The thesis deals with extrication itself made by fire brigades, suitable procedures, kinds of interventions and means of used technical equipment. Another part suggests ways of saving trails and evidence during road accident interventions. Final part of the thesis is focused on overall analysis of the given problem based on personal experience, suggestions, negative aspects of the current situation and differences in training of possible situations with reality at the site of the accident.

Čtenář bude nejprve seznámen s celkovou problematikou první pomoci, poté získá informace týkající se různých nebezpečných prostředí, ve kterých může s elektřinou přijít do styku. Část bakalářské práce je věnována problematice elektrické bezpečnosti, s níž by měly být seznámeny všechny osoby jakkoli používající elektrická zařízení. Hlavním cílem práce je lepší pochopení problematiky první pomoci po zásahu elektrickým proudem a nabytí základních znalostí z oblasti elektrické bezpečnosti, za účelem předcházení možným úrazům.
Indemnification of claims of injured persons resulting from the insurance of liability for damage caused by operation of a vehicle

The thesis deals with indemnification of claims of injured persons resulting from the insurance of liability for injury caused by operation of a vehicle and especially with individual claims of injured persons resulting from the insurance of liability for injury caused by operation of a vehicle, where it endeavours to compare legal regulation effective until 31th December 2013 with the legal regulation effective as of 1st January 2014 and it highlight the most important impacts of the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, in the area of indemnification of claims of injured persons originating due to infliction of physical injury or death. It is a very current topic considering the number of traffic accidents and due to the fact, that this is an issue was affected by the re-codification of the civil law. Premedical Skills Level of Selected Primary School Pupils

The main emphasis of this thesis is to determine premedical skills level of selected primary school pupils. It compares 8th and 9th graders knowledge gained during the curricular subjects for primary schools and post-project ones. The project itself is focused on human health and first aid in emergency situations and it combines all didactic techniques including practical training at local medical high school. The thesis consists of two main parts, where theoretical part briefly introduces the history of first aid within the Red Cross, gives an insight into first aid legislation and shows fundamental first aid techniques. The protection of the injured person and the victim in the criminal proceedings

THE PROTECTION OF THE INJURED PERSON AND THE VICTIM IN THE CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS - ABSTRACT The content of this thesis is a definition of the term "injured person" in the sense of procedural party of the criminal proceedings and of the term "victim of the criminal act" in the sense of subject that is being defined by other legislation than by the Criminal Procedure Code. In the introductory chapter of this thesis the reader will be learnt the status of the injured person in the criminal proceedings (not only) in our country from the historical perspective. Thereafter he/she will be clarified the term "injured person" and simultaneously will be learnt a catalog of permissions the injured person is being granted by the Criminal Procedure Code. Separate chapter is devoted to the victim of the criminal act. In this chapter the reader will be learnt in particular international documents and regulations of the European Union which are being devoted to this term whereas a part of this chapter is also devoted to the existing legislation in the Czech Republic. In this thesis is also possible to learn, at least in general, legislation in neighboring countries. In conclusion the thesis is guided by considerations on possible future changes in legislation concerning the status of the injured person and the victim.
Analysis of the number of killed and injured persons by fires since 2001 in the Czech Republic

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to compare the number of killed and injured persons by fires since 2001 in the Czech Republic according to established criteria and to propose measures to reduce the number of killed and injured persons. The set criteria included a comparison based on age, cause of fire, industry of fire and individual regions of the Czech Republic. The number of killed and injured persons was also recalculated to 100,000 inhabitants. A qualitative research was selected to obtain the data, using data from the individual statistical files of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, which were subsequently analyzed. The research question was formulated as: "Is the number of killed and injured persons by fires in the Czech Republic falling during the years 2001 to 2016?" The research found that even though the number of fires dropped significantly during the monitored period, the number of killed persons decreased only slightly and the number of injured persons increased significantly. In addition, the research found that the most tragic consequences of fires in households, which are often due to negligence. Measures have been proposed to reduce the number of people killed and injured by fires. The results of this bachelor thesis can serve for preventive educational activities of the population in order to reduce the number of killed and injured persons by fires and therefore they will be offered to the Ministry of Interior - General Directorate of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic for further use.
Protecting victims of crimes

The thesis deals with the protection of victims of crimes, especially from the point of view of the formal aspect of their guarantee. The aim of the thesis is to identify the rights of victims belonging to such persons by law, taking into account the shortcomings of the law adopted for the protection of victims and its subsequent amendment, together with the concrete implications for the status of the victim. For this purpose, the work is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the necessary definition of the concepts that are crucial to this work, such as the victim, the victim and the particularly vulnerable victim, as well as the determination of the basic distinguishing features between the concepts of crime victim and the victim. The second chapter deals with the legislative development of the protection of victims of crime, at international, European and Czech level. At the same time, this chapter briefly summarizes the legislative development of the adoption of the first independent law on the protection of victims in the territory of the Czech Republic. Criminal, criminological and criminalistic aspects of injured person's interrogation

This thesis is dealing with the criminal interrogation of injured person from criminal, criminalistic and criminological aspect and emphasizes the issue of secondary victimization. It contains an examination of the terms injured person, victim of crime and criminal interrogation, then is dealing with methods and tactics of questioning with specific issues involved in injured person's matter. The thesis describes changes in Czech system of law caused by the Statute of victims of crime. On particular cases based on author's research the thesis shows how can wrongly managed questiong leads to secondary victimization of victim, and offers solutions of particular problems involved in criminal interrogation of injured person.
